Double Lock and Sleeve Connection:
To securely lock the plug into the receptacle and prevent loose connections, SmartPlug incorporates two side locks, a cover lock and a unique sleeve connection.
Straight Pins:
SmartPlug's straight-in connection allows the electrical pins to be straight - with greater contact area than the thin curved pins found on round style connectors.
Polarity Indicator:
An LED light is built into the dockside plug to instantly show that the shore side power has the correct polarity.
Triple Seal Waterproof Connection:
To prevent corrosion of internal electrical components, SmartPlug utilizes a compressed front seal, a rear seal and a flanged cord seal that allows for flexibility. Multiple flanged cord seals are included to fit common cord sizes.
